Our 2 hour Beekeeper Basics Training is an onsite course held at our apiary in Coutts Crossing, near Grafton, New South Wales. The course is designed for up to 2 participants and focuses on providing hands-on experience to learn the basics of beekeeping. The course will cover important topics such as how to care for your bees, how to protect yourself and the bees, and how to harvest honey. All necessary protective gear will be provided during the course.

During the Basics of Beekeeping Intensive Training, participants will learn about a variety of important topics related to beekeeping. Some of these topics include:
- Hive Management: Participants will learn about the different types of hives and how to set up and maintain a hive. They will also learn about the different components of a hive and how to inspect it for signs of disease or pests.
- Bee Biology: Participants will learn about the different types of bees in a colony, their roles and lifecycle, and how to identify the queen bee. They will also learn about the different stages of development of a bee colony and how to manage the colony throughout the year.
- Protective Gear: Participants will learn about the different types of protective gear available for beekeeping and how to properly use it. They will also learn about the importance of safety when working with bees and how to avoid getting stung.
- Honey Harvesting: Participants will learn about the different methods of harvesting honey, how to extract it from the comb, and how to prepare it for consumption. They will also learn about the different types of honey and their unique properties.
